Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gregory McDuffie.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 22, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
