Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gregory Estel.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP GREGORY BURKE ESTEL (October 21, 1959 – December 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:22 p.m.

The decedent was shot inside his truck, near Emerson Middle School in Pomona.

A memorial mass is scheduled to be held on Friday, December 20th, at 10:00 a.m. St. Madeleine Church is located at 931 East Kingsley Avenue in Pomona.
