Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gonzalo Daza Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Toxicity

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Decedent appears to have been a highly functional meth head who worked as an elote street vendor. He left behind five children to fend for themselves.
