Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Gloria Hammad. Born in San Diego County.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP GLORIA M. HAMMAD (October 22, 1974 – June 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
