(L.A.) Gilberto Mora, 47, Died From Abusing Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gilberto Mora.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: History of Asthma

RIP GILBERTO MORA (April 30, 1977 – February 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:08 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
