Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred on a train platform.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gilberto De Luna Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alcohol, Methamphethamine and Fentanyl

RIP GILBERTO DE LUNA JR. (June 8, 1977 – September 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:40 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
