(L.A.) George Brown, 78, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as George Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP GEORGE BROWN (April 1, 1945 – September 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:38 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
