The Gastro Doc Passes Away Unexpectedly at 53
Dr. Saleem Desai, known as @thegastrodoc on Instagram, has died.
Desai was a gastroenterology specialist based in Northridge with over 32 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Miraj Med College Shivaji University in 1990. He was affiliated with West Hills Hospital & Medical Center, as well as Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
His final Instagram post was on December 12, 2021.
No cause of death has been announced.
