Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Fredy Romero Mendez.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Electrocution
Other Significant Condition: Cardiomegaly

The decedent’s name is spelled Freddy in OSHA reports. The incident happened at the Rice Field Corporation in La Puente, whose official address is 14500 Valley Boulevard, City of Industry, CA 91746. West Pole Electric is another entity at the same address that was investigated by OSHA concurrently.
Family and friends intend to have his body repatriated to his native country of Guatemala.
