(L.A.) Fredy Nova Ramirez, 22, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Fredy Nova Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP FREDY NOVA RAMIREZ (June 12, 2003 – December 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-February, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s name as Freddy.
