(L.A.) Fred Alvarado Barrera, 45, Died at a Bus Stop

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Fred Alvarado Barrera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Alcoholism

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 9. This was alcohol poisoning — the decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
