(L.A.) Franklin Mejia, 42, Died in Santa Clarita

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred at an intersection in Santa Clarita.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Franklin Mejia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma

RIP FRANKLIN MEJIA (March 3, 1981 – November 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:45 p.m.

The decedent was on a bicycle when he was fatally injured in a crash with a vehicle.

LASD said the incident happened at Market Street and Railroad Avenue.
