(L.A.) Fernando Rios, 43, Died from Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred on a train platform.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Fernando Rios.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:02 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 14, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
