(L.A.) Fabian Lemus, 27, Died from a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Fabian Lemus.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Police believe this daytime shooting was a gang-related attack. Two Long Beach men have since been arrested on suspicion of committing this crime — Muhammad Abdur-Rahman Nelson, 20, and Quatrelle Jaquin Carroll, 29.

Officers arrived to the location to find evidence of a shooting, but no victims. They later learned a victim, later identified as Lemus, was dropped off at the emergency room of a hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound, but he died.
