(L.A.) Evelin Morales Garcia, 33, Died by the 10 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in the Mid-City area.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Evelin Morales Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

RIP EVELIN MORALES GARCIA (June 1, 1991 – March 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:06 a.m.

California Highway Patrol said that Caltrans workers found a body in the Mid-City area just before 9:00 a.m. The location was adjacent to the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway east of La Brea Avenue.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 28.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
