(L.A.) Evan Schroth, 42, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Evan Schroth.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP EVAN WIN SCHROTH (August 11, 1981 – January 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
