(L.A.) Evan Furubotten, 35, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Evan Furubotten.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP EVAN FURUBOTTEN (August 3, 1989 – March 3, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
