(L.A.) Ernest Ochoa, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ernest Ochoa.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

According to the fundraiser below, the decedent was attacked by a group of individuals on Saturday night (June 28) as he was leaving a Ralph’s grocery store after using an ATM. He suffered serious head injuries that left him brain dead.
