Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred at his place of residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Erick Portillo.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects
RIP ERICK PORTILLO (October 23, 1984 – December 28, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:22 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
