Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Erick Monterroso Mcclaughlin of Lancaster.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:52 a.m.

The decedent appears to have been from Guatemala. He was shot in the 44000 block of Gingham Avenue in Lancaster.
