(L.A.) Eric Washington, 53, Died in a Driveway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred in a driveway in Compton.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eric Washington.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP ERIC WASHINGTON (October 2, 1971 – May 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:24 p.m.

LASD deputies had responded at around 11:08 p.m. to the 100 block of North Poinsettia Avenue, near East Compton Boulevard.
