(L.A.) Eric Ruffins, 28, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred on a street in an unincorporated area near Compton.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eric Ruffins of Carson.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Back

RIP ERIC RUFFINS (April 23, 1995 – January 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:02 p.m.

The shooting happened at around 4:50 p.m. in the 15600 block of Atlantic Avenue, one block north of Alondra Boulevard.
