(L.A.) Eric Christensen, 49, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Eric Christensen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP ERIC CHRISTENSEN (August 4, 1973 – October 26, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

The decedent was a motorcyclist who was injured in a collision with an SUV in the intersection of Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards in Beverly Hills.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 10:04 a.m., along with Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics who treated the motorcyclist before transporting him to a hospital where he died.

The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. There were several occupants in the SUV, all of whom were uninjured.
