(L.A.) Enrique Perez Mendez, 58, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Enrique Perez Mendez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sharp-Force Injury of Forearm

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:46 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 24.

The decedent was a handyman found dead inside a van in Highland Park. He had been living inside a beige-colored SUV.

The friend who found the body said it had slashes or cuts on the arms and legs.
