(L.A.) Emylio Cervantes Carrasco, 20, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Emylio Cervantes Carrasco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
