Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Emmanuel Redrick.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:20 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
