Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Emilia Lechuga-Bass.

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:45 a.m.
The decedent was the only passenger with her husband Michael Wright, who was driving a 1997 Hyundai and crashed on the 405 Freeway at around 4:20 a.m.
She was the only daughter of Karen Bass. They had just gotten married on January 5.
