(L.A.) Elvis Portillo Guardado, 38, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Elvis Portillo Guardado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Ethanolism

RIP ELVIS PORTILLO GUARDADO (September 22, 1986 – March 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:55 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 29.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
