RIP ELIAS EDDIE TAPIA (August 3, 1999 – August 25, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:15 a.m.
The decedent had a criminal history. He was just arrested on July 14 for being an addict in possession of firearm. He was violating his probation.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
The government investigator had initially noted the decedent’s place of death as a utility shed, before later changing it to electrical room.
Note that there are multiple decedents named “Elias Tapia” in public records.
