(L.A.) Edward Villa Guerra, 38, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Edward Villa Guerra.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
