Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edward Arismendez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP EDWARD ARISMENDEZ (January 18, 1982 – January 17, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:28 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
