(L.A.) Edner Passan, 33, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk in East Hollywood.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Edner Passan.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds

RIP EDNER ARMANDO PASSAN (November 26, 1992 – May 7, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday night.

Police responded at around 9:00 p.m. to Virgil Avenue and Willow Brook Avenue.

The decedent had a criminal record, with an arrest in connection to a murder in 2019.
