The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edgar Gasparian of Van Nuys, California.

Black hair. Brown eyes. Height: 5 feet 8 inches. Weight: 250 pounds.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP EDGAR GASPARIAN (April 19, 1999 – January 11, 2023)

Decedent was arrested by LAPD on December 24, 2022, for 11370.1(A) possession of firearm and controlled substances. Listed by police as “white.”

Arrested by Mission Area LAPD on January 5, 2023, for a felony. Bail was 75,000. Charged in court with with 211 robbery on January 9, 2023.

Date of birth has been listed variously as March 13, 1999, and March 14, 1999, possibly due to multiple records being mixed up.
