(L.A.) Edel Quintero, 16, Died From a Stabbing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street in the Palms neighborhood.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Edel Quintero.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Stab Wound of Chest

RIP EDEL QUINTERO (June 17, 2008 – June 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:38 p.m.

The decedent was stabbed apparently by another teen at a summer carnival organized by LAPD supporters.
