(L.A.) Eddie Rich Jr., 53, Died from an OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eddie Rich Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

RIP EDDIE RICH JR. (January 18, 1970 – February 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
