The coroner’s office identified the girl as Dysis Machuca.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Toxicity

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent was a student at Vista Charter Middle School.
