(L.A.) Duke Rivera, 41, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Duke Rivera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Alcohol Use; Fatty Liver; Hypertrophic Heart Disease

RIP DUKE WARREN RIVERA (March 10, 1984 – September 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 15.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
