(L.A.) Du-Young Lee, 56, Died from Stab Wounds

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old male of Asian ethnicity that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Du Lee.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:28 p.m.

Du-Young Lee, also known as Tommy Lee, passed away on Olympic Boulevard west of Wall Street, in the Fashion District.

The Korean vendor was killed after an altercation at a wig shop he had owned for close to two decades.

Two 17-year-olds have been charged with murder in the stabbing death.
