(L.A.) Dorothy Dunnigan, 70, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dorothy Dunnigan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DOROTHY DUNNIGAN (September 11, 1952 – September 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
