(L.A.) Donald Porter II, 42, Died From Xylazine

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Donald Porter II.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fluorofentanyl, Xylazine, Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental overdose.

No one claimed the decedent’s body, so it was cremated on January 2, 2024.
