(L.A.) Dinmukhammed Ulysbayev, 24, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old “White/Caucasian” male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dinmukhammed Ulysbayev.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA), and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:28 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental overdose.

Kazakh cyclist dies in LA

The decedent was a professional road racing cyclist from Kazakhstan who was considered upper tier. He was slated to join an American team and that was the reason he was in the country. We do not know who provided him with the drugs.

His death was also announced on social media by the Kazakh Cycling Federation. ⬆️

Kazakhstan has long been a major transit corridor for drugs, being situated between drug-producing areas in South Asia (mainly Afghanistan) and drug consumption markets in Europe. Trafficking of Afghan opiates on the northern route generates an estimated US$2 billion.

About 2 percent of Kazakhstan’s total population is addicted to drugs. About 12 percent of young people have tried drugs.
