(L.A.) Diego Ciardullo, 17, Died in a Healthcare Service

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Latino male that occurred in a healthcare service.

The coroner’s office has identified the teen as Diego Ciardullo of San Dimas.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:01 p.m.

The young man was on his way from school on March 25, Monday, when he was hit by a Metrolink train in an unincorporated county area near Covina.

California Highway Patrol stated that in the 1900 block, where Covina crosses the tracks, the inattentive boy walked into the side of the train.
