Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dewayne Freeman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Cocaine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:18 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
