Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Desiderio Nevarez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Urosepsis

Other Significant Conditions: Liver Cirrhosis; Morbid Obesity; History of Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia and Intravenous Drug Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:34 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
