(L.A.) Derek Featherston, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Derek Featherston.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP DEREK FEATHERSTON (February 17, 1986 – August 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:04 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
