(L.A.) Demetrius Doukoullos, 92, Died in Hermosa Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 92-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Demetrius Doukoullos of Hermosa Beach.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

RIP DEMETRIUS DOUKOULLOS (June 1935 – March 14, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was a Greek American property developer who was apparently murdered by a man who used the female name Eleanor Beaulieu.

Prosecutors with the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office charged 39-year-old Robert Phillip Simmons with one count of murder, writing in the indictment that they believe the 92-year-old was killed sometime between March 7 and March 14.
