Two Heart Attack Deaths at Download Festival in England
A second person died at this year’s Download Festival, it has been belatedly revealed.
Earlier reports said one man died after becoming unwell shortly before 9:00 pm on Saturday (June 11), moments before rock legends Iron Maiden took to the stage. He was transferred to Derby Royal Infirmary but died the same day.
It now turns out that another man had suffered a cardiac arrest at 12:48 pm on Saturday as well. He was given emergency medical treatment at the scene before being transferred to an onsite medical center. He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The annual rock music festival took place across the weekend, from June 10 to 12, at Castle Donington, in Leicestershire.
There are no other known deaths among festival attendees in years past, despite the notoriety of drug use. The first Download Fest was held in 2003.

As stated on our website: Once you have shown proof of your negative test at the first check point at the entrance to the arena. You will still need to follow current COVID guidelines in regards to masks and social distancing in the car parks and drop off/pick up points.
