(L.A.) Dean Anderson, 34, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a transient encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dean Anderson.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

RIP DEAN ANDERSON (July 17, 1989 – July 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:43 p.m.

This was a triple shooting in a homeless encampment in Downey.
