Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dawn Mitch.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sepsis

Cause of Death B: Soft-Tissue Infection

Cause of Death C: Sequelae of Anoxic Brain Injury

RIP DAWN MITCH (September 11, 1984 – September 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 28.
