(L.A.) David Vasquez, 48, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as David Vasquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes Mellitus, and Thyroid Carcinoma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
